지민이 태어난 95년도와 지민의 이름이 새겨져 있었다. 95년도에는 지민의 얼굴이 새겨져 있었다.

The tank top design shows the number 95, the year Jimin was born, and his name. The numbers have Jimin's face inside the design.

치미는 나의 일거 일수족을 지켜보고 있다. 하하하

Chimmy followed me all the day long.

치미 왈: 난 네가 어제 뭘 했는지 알지요?

Chimmy says, I know what you did yesterday.

예전의 글을 통해서 이야기했지만 우리 집 식구들은 내가 지민 덕후라는 사실을 달갑게 생각하지 않았다. 하지만 나를 기쁘게 해 주기 위해서 어버이날 엄마를 위한 깜짝 선물을 주문한 것이 이렇게 오늘 도착했다. 너무나 사랑스러운 지민의 마스코트인 치미였다. 치미와의 첫 만남은 그냥 너무 좋았다. 마치 내가 치미와 친구인 것처럼 어린 시절로 돌아가는 동심의 세계를 소환해 내는 느낌이었다.

I talked about it in my previous writings, but my family doesn't appreciate the fact that I am Jimin's fan. Ara ordered a suprise gift for Mother's Day that pleased me. It was Chimmy, a mascot of so lovely Jimin. The first meeting with Chimmy was just so good. It was like summoning a world of compassion back to childhood, as if I were friends with Chimmy.

어리 적 시골에서 자라온 필자는 이런 치미 인형은 구경하기도 힘들었다. 가난과도 싸워야 했지만 특히 아버님의 완고한 성격 때문에 인형에다 돈을 쓰는 건 낭비와 사치로 여기셨기 때문이기도 했다. 이제 성인이 되어서 내가 원하는걸 직접 사고 쓰고 한다. 물론 치미 인형도 내 돈 주고 사면되지만, 우리 딸이 선물한 것이라 더 의미가 깊었다.

사랑스러운 치미 인형과 더불어 지민 이름이 새겨진 탱크 탑과 자신을 사랑하라는 앨범 재킷의 로그가 담긴 탱크 탑이 반갑게 나를 반겨주고 있었다.

Growing up in the countryside as a child, I found it hard to see

such a Chimmy doll. I also had to fight poverty, but my father's stubborn character made it a waste and luxury to spend money on dolls.

Now as an adult, I buy and write what I want. Of course, I could have bought

the Chimmy doll with my money, but it was more meaningful because it was given by my daughter.

Along with the lovely

telling you to love yourself were welcoming me.

참고로 방탄소년단의 마스코트가 있는데, 특히 지민의 마스코트 치미는 장난꾸러기, 삶을 즐기는 낙천주의 성격을 지녔다. 치미는 지민을 상징하는 것이나 다름없었다. 우리 큰딸 아라가 치미를 보더니 반해 버리겠단다.

For your information, each BTS member has a mascot. My favorite is Jimin's mascot, Chimmy, who has a mischievous, life-pleasing nature of optimism. Chimmy is a symbol of Jimin. My oldest daughter, Ara, looks at Chimmy, and she likes it.

치미.. 너.. 너무 귀엽잖아.

Chimmy.. you... are so cute.
