1복 있는 사람은 악인들의 꾀를 따르지 아니하며 죄인들의 길에 서지 아니하며
오만한 자들의 자리에 앉지 아니하고 (시편 1-1)
1 Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked,
or set foot on the path of sinners, or sit in the seat of mockers. (Psalms 1-1)
하루를 지내면서 곰곰이 생각해봤습니다. 나에게 어떤 영향력을 끼치는 사람과 사귀고 있는가에 대해서 말입니다. 당신이 어떤 친구를 사귀느냐에 따라서 인생이 달라집니다. 우리가 살아가는 길은 두 가지 길이 있습니다. 하나는 악인의 길이고 또 하나는 의인의 길로 향하는 것입니다. 지금 이 순간 당신이 사귀고 있는 친구 5명을 둘러보세요. 그러면 당신 인생은 어느 지점에 서 있는지를 알 수 있을 겁니다.
오늘 하루도 많은 시간을 세상적 고민에 빠져 있던 제 자신을 용서하소서. 하늘의 것을 사모하고 하나님 나라의 영광을 돌리는 일을 했는지에 대해서 반성합니다. 내일은 더 변화가 된 나의 모습을 돌아보게 하소서. 예수님 이름으로 기도드립니다. 아멘.

The Two Paths

1 Blessed is the man
who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked,
or set foot on the path of sinners,
or sit in the seat of mockers.
2 But his delight is in the Law of the LORD,
and on His law he meditates day and night.
3He is like a tree planted by streams of water,
yielding its fruit in season,
whose leaf does not wither,
and who prospers in all he does.
4 Not so the wicked!
For they are like chaff driven off by the wind.
5 Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment,
nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.
6 For the LORD guards the path of the righteous,
but the way of the wicked will perish.
