Once a man came to a small village. Though handsome and debonair, he was also cold and distant. The village's maidens adore him, but he preferred to spend his time among the many animals that he seemed to charm so easily. He lived among the villagers for nearly 25 years and never seemed to age more than his early 30s. The villagers never learned his name, and simply gave him the nickname, Taming Master.
One day, Taming Master disappeared from the village without a trace. The people soon forgot about him and returned to their boring lives. Led by a strange vision that showed he would tame the most viscious and elusive of all beasts, Taming Master had wandered deep into mountains in search of this beast. The vision warned Taming Master that he would only be able to tame such a beast if he could first tame his own tormented spirit After three years of wandering the rugged mountains in search of inner peace, Taming Master received another dream.
In this dream, he fought, not with wild beasts, but with demons, and eventually bound them in servitude to him as master. When he awoke to find a demoning cooking his breakfast, he was shocked to find that it was no dream. He had indeed tamed the most viscious and elusive of all beasts by taming his own spirit. So, from then on, he set out to perfect his mastery over himself and these strange beasts that were born out his own tamed spirit, naming each one as he gained mastery over it.
One day, Taming Master stumbled upon one of the villagers running into the forest. The villager told him of how an evil warlord had taken over the village and enslaved everyone who didn't escape. Taming Master knew then what he had to do. He had to use his newly tamed inner self and the demons that he had mastered to bring freedom to his village and to any others that may be oppressed. So, he became a true messenger of love and liberty. He truly was Taming Master.
