by Deborah 2011. 6. 8.

Goodbye, My Friend

Hello... Its the beginning.
This is not a greeting,
For you deserve more than that.
This is not happy salutations,
For you are soon to be leaving.

Life has been memorable, without you it won't be the same.
Tears may drop. Time may stop.

New beginnings spring forth.
I won't forget you.

Our friendship won't end.
You won't forget me.

Twitter, twit, twat, a little bird will sing.
Its song shall always remind me of you when I need you the most.

 It maybe a sad departing.
But it is also a happy farewell, for the memories we've shared,
The laughs we have had,
And the adventures that became our secrets.

You made me smile when I cried.
You listened when I wanted your understanding.
You guided me through mazes that I struggled.
You simply just cared, and treated me like as a brother would.

This is not the end
For we shall meet again.
This is not a farewell
For this is a greeting, to your new journey.
Goodbye...Its not the end.

This is not the end
For we shall meet again.
This is not a farewell
For this is a greeting, to your new journey.
Goodbye...Its not the end.
