방탄소년단의 Wings(날개)앨범을 통해서 헤르만 헤세의 자서전 소설이라 볼 수있는 데미안의 싱클레어라는 소년의 성장기를 비유해서 보여주었다. 그들의 두번째 정규앨범으로 알려져 도약을 꿈꾸는 마음이 담겨져 있었다. 새해의 첫 앨범리뷰는 은유적 표현으로 현실에서 겪고 있는 젊음의 고뇌를 속시원히 털어 놓는 하나의 성장의 아픔이 전달된다.

BTS' Wings album compares the growth of a boy named Demian Sinclair, which is considered an autobiographical novel by Hermann Hesse. It was known as their second full-length album, and it was filled with dreams of making a leap. The first album review of the new year is a metaphorical expression, which conveys the pain of growth that expresses the anguish of youth in the real world.
Let's go into the story of BTS.

BTS Jimin - 'Lie'
지민의 감미로운 솔로 보컬로 들려주는 "거짓말"은 멜로딕한 속삭임으로 전달된다. 거짓으로 포장된 많은 인간관계의 쓸쓸한 단면을 보여주는 노래였다. 벗어나고 싶어도 헤어나지 못하는 거짓으로 포장된 그 세계속에서 젊음은 방황을 한다.
Jimin's sweet solo vocals "Lies" are conveyed in a melodious whisper. It was a song that showed the lonely side of many relationships falsely wrapped. Youth is wandering in a world wrapped in lies that wanted to escape but could not escape.
BTS (방탄소년단) '피 땀 눈물 (Blood Sweat & Tears)'
"날개" 앨범의 타이틀 곡으로 나왔던 "피 땀 눈물" 뮤직비디오는 싱클레어라는 소년를 통해서 깨어나고 있는 청춘를 보게된다. 이렇게 그들의 음악은 컨셉이 각 앨범마다 있다. 방탄소년단의 힘겨운 노력의 결과로 오늘날 성공을 한 아이돌이 되었다. 그들의 피, 땀과 눈물이 없었다면 불가능했다.

BTS (방탄소년단) – 'CYPHER PT.4'
제이홉,슈가,RM의 멋진 랩이 시작된다. 사이버의 악플은 무플보다 낫다는 말이 귓전에 맴돈다. 관심이 무관심 보다 좋다는 말과도 같았다. 그들은 대중들로 부터 사랑 받기를 원했다. 모든 음악인들이 그러하듯 그들의 음악을 대중들이 사랑해주기를 바라는 마음이 있는것은 당연한 것이 아닐까.
J-Hope, Sugar, and RM start a great rap. It is said in my ear that cyber malicious comments are better than nothing. It was like saying that interest is better than indifference. They wanted to be loved by the public. Isn't it natural that there is a desire for the public to love their music just like all musicians do?
BTS J-Hope - 'MAMA'
제이홉은 음악적 끼가 다분히 있는 방탄소년단의 맴버로서 작사에도 직접 참여하게된 노래였다. 작사,춤,랩 등 여러가지를 소화해내고 있는 제이홉이였다. 지민과 더불어 제이홉은 방탄소년단의 메인 댄스로 활략하고 있다. 엄마에 대한 마음 그것이 그당시 느꼈던 제이홉의 마음이였던 것 같다.
J-Hope was a member of BTS with a lot of musical talent, and he participated in the song. He was J-Hope, who has been working on lyrics, dances, and rap. Along with Jimin, J-Hope plays the main dance of BTS. I think that was what J-Hope felt then.
BTS V - 'Stigma'
방탄소년단의 곡은 대부분 리드보컬 지민과 메인보컬 정국에 의해서 불려졌다. 그래서 그룹내의 그의 음악적 인지도가 낮은 편이였는데 이렇게 V는 솔로곡으로 감각이 풍부한 노래로 대중들의 귀를 즐겁게 해주었다. 방탄소년단 각 맴버들은 개인적 음악의 재능을 가지고 있었다. 위의 노래를 들으면서 알지 못했던 뷰(V)의 새로움에 반하게 되었다.
BTS's songs were mostly sung by lead vocal Jimin and main vocal Jungkook. So, his musical profile in the group was low. V entertained the public with his sensitive songs. So each member of BTS had a talent for personal music. Listening to the above song, I fell in love with V's new look.
BTS Jin - 'Awake'
진이 들려주는 "Awake" 노래는 그야말로 섬세한 한 인간의 단면적인 모습을 보여준다. 진의 매력적 보컬을 감상하고 그만의 색깔이 첼로의 연주와 어울려져서 아름다움의 극치를 보여준 곡이었다. 그만을 위한 완벽에 가까운 노래었다.
그리고 인트로 부분에 랩몬스터의 독백이 아직도 귓전에 맴돌고 있다.
새는 알에서 나오려고 힘겹게 싸운다. 알은 세계다. 태어나기를 원하는 자는 하나의 세계를 깨뜨려야 한다. 새는 신을 향해 날아간다. 그 신의 이름은 아프락사스다.
Jin's 'Awake" song shows a delicate human aspect.
It was a song that showed the height of beauty by appreciating Jin's charming vocals
and mingling his own color with the cello's performance. It was like a perfect song for him.
And in the intro segment, Rap Monster's monologue still haunts my ears remember the words like this.
"The bird fights its way out of the egg. The egg is the world. Who would be born must first destroy a world. The bird flies to God. The God's name is Abraxas."
BTS (방탄소년단) - 'OUTRO: Wings
"날개"앨범 마지막 노래로 들려오는 비상하고 싶어 하는 젊음의 날개를 펼쳐진 모습이 연상된다. 젊음이라는 날개를 달고 세상을 향해 날아오름을 보여주고 싶었던 간절함이 느껴진다.
"Wings" reminds me of a young man who wants to be in the wild with the last song of the album. I feel the longing to show how I can fly to the world with the wings of youth.
BTS (방탄소년단) - 21st Century Girls
위의 곡을 들으면서 우리 큰딸 아라가 생각났다. 그녀를 이해하지 못하고, 외출 하게되면 싸움으로 번지는 나의 마음이 생각났다. 좀 더 이해했더라면 좋았을것을. 넌 최고라고 딸에게 들려주고 싶었던 말들이 노래가사로 흘러나온다. 나의 방식대로 알고 이해 하려했던 짧았던 생각들이 부끄럽게 느껴졌다.
As I listened to the above song, I remembered my oldest daughter, Ara. I couldn't understand her and remembered that going out with her would lead to a fight. I wish I had understood more. The lyrics are full of words I wanted to tell my daughter that you are the best. I felt ashamed of the negative thoughts that I had and tried to understand in my own way.
BTS (방탄소년단) - 2! 3! (둘! 셋! (그래도 좋은 날이 더 많기를))
2019년에는 더욱 멋진 일만 일어나기를 바라는 나의 소망이 담겨진 노래처럼 들렸다. 그래서 오늘의 마지막 리스트 곡으로 선곡해봤다. 아픔도 있지만 하나,둘,셋 하면 잊어 버리자라는 그 말의 암축된 의미를 되새김질 해본다. 새로운 곳을 향해 우리는 새로운 마음으로 다가선다. 우리의 기쁨과 행복이 기다리고 있는 그곳을 향해서.
It sounded like a song with my wish for something even better in 2019. So I chose the song for today's last. Let's remind ourselves of the implicit meaning of the word, "Let's forget it when we make one, two, three." We approach a new place with a new mind, to the place where our joy and happiness awaits.

방탄소년단의 "날개" 앨범은 필자가 좋아하게된 앨범이였다. 그들의 많은 앨범들이 있지만 그중에서도 유독 위의 앨범이 눈이 가는 이유는 젊음의 고뇌와 방황을 새로운 문학적 접근을 통해서 이야기 형식으로 풀어내었다는 점을 높이 사주고 싶었다. 방탄소년단의 노래가 알고 싶다면 그들의 앨범을 직접 들어 보라고 권한다. 그들의 각 앨범마다 컨셉이 있고 그것을 통해서 음악적으로 세상과 교류 하고 있었다.
2019년 그대들의 삶이 더 풍유롭고 멋진 날들로 가득하기를 바라는 마음으로 진정성을 담아 방탄소년단의 멋진 "Wing(날개)" 앨범을 안겨주고 싶었다.
Bangtan's "Wings" album was my favorite. There are many of their albums, but the reason why the above album stands out is to appreciate the fact that it has released the anguish and panic of youth in a narrative form through a new literary approach. If you want to know the songs of BTS, I recommend you listen to their albums. Each of their albums had a concept and they were interacting with the world musically through each.
