세상에서 가장 아름다웠던 50주년 금혼식을 참여했다. 너무나 아름다운 노부부의 모습을 보면서 결혼에 대해서 심각하게 생각하는 시간이 되었다.

오늘 특별한 날이라 이렇게 정장을 입고 왔다고 했다. 기념으로 사진을 찍었다.

남편님과 친구 부부가 함께 했다. 너무나 아름다운 부부의 모습이였다.
나도 이렇게 곱게 늙어갔으면 좋겠다고 속으로 생각했다.

이렇게 금혼식을 부부가 나와서 감사의 말을 전하고 난 후에 기도를 했다.

맛난 식사가 끝난 후, 케잌을 자르는 순서로 이어졌다.
세명의 자식과 8명의 손자,손녀들이 참석한 그들의 50주년 금혼식은 화려하지 않았지만 멋지고 아름다웠던 언약식이였다. 무슨말로 표현 할 수가 있으랴. 50년을 한 남자만 아니 한 여자만 바라보고 살아온 그들의 인생이 너무나 아름다웠고 현세대에게는 큰 귀감이 되는 결혼생활의 본을 보여 주셨다.
우리 부부는 그들의 50주년 금혼식을 마치고 돌아오는 차안에서 대화를 나누었다.
그리고 우리는 다짐하듯 말했다.
"우리도 저들처럼 50주년 금혼식을 하자."
After the delicious meal, the cake was cut in order.
Their 50th anniversary celebration, attended by three children, and eight grandchildren, was beautiful. What can I say? Their lives were so beautiful that they had been looking to no other man or woman but each other for 50 years, and they set a great example of marriage for the next generations.
We talked in the car coming back from their 50th anniversary celebration.
We said determinedly,
"Let's celebrate our 50th anniversary like them."
오전에 비가 내렸던 하늘에서 빛나게 햇살이 비쳐졌다.
마치 그들의 50주년 금혼식을 축하라도 하듯이.

50주년 금혼식에서 새로운 언약을 하고 있는 친구부부의 모습이였다.
친구는 아내에게 프로포즈를 했던 시를 오늘 들려주었다.
"장미는 붉고 바이올렛은 청색이라오, 난 학교를 마쳤으니 당신과 결혼하고 싶소." (그리고 오늘날)
"장미는 붉고 바이올렛은 청색이라오, 난 늙은이가 되었소 그렇지만 여전히 당신을 사랑하오."
It was the scene of a friend couple making a new pledge at the 50th anniversary ceremony.
He said to his wife, both the poem he used to propose and a new poem for today: "Roses are red, Violets are blue, I'm through school and I want to marry you." (and for today) "Roses are red, Violets are blue, I'm an old man and I still love you"
