에디오피아에서 온 공주님은 오빠인 한울씨의 아파트 수영장을 다녀왔다.
She visited as soon as pool opened at 10am.
그녀는 10시에 아파트 수영장이 오픈되자 마자 그곳에 도착하게 되었다.
It started off too cold, and she screamed. However, she liked it once she was settled in.
처음에는 차갑다고 소리를 지르기는 했으나 조금씩 적응을 하더니 좋아했다.
She began swimming. It looked like she had fun.
수영을 시작했다. 혼자서 재미나게 하는것이 보였다.
Her best friend smiled and looked at her.
그녀의 베프인 티아라도 웃으면서 바라보고 있었다.
It looked like fish meets water and having a fun time.
마치 물고기가 물을 만난 마냥 신나게 수영하고 있었다.
She always catches the camera's lens and smiled again. I caught the happiest moment in her life.
카메라를 의식하고는 미소를 짓기 시작했다. 난 공주님의 행복한 순간을 카메라에 담게 되었다.

On a hot summer day, my Ethiopian princess went to the swimming pool with her best friend. She was so happy to get into the water. You see that African American lady's hair is special. She has to wear a swim cap, but she does not do it. This is because after swimming, I took her to the beauty shop for her new hair style. So she can the new style wet all she wants. I am so glad to let her go swimming. Her smile is something else. It was a beautiful smile.
아주 더운 여름날 에디오피아에서 온 공주님이 수영장 나들이를 그녀의 베플과 함께 다녀왔다. 공주님은 물에 들어가자 너무 좋아 하셨다. 여러분도 아시다시피 흑인 여성들의 머리가 특별하다. 수영을 할때는 수영모자를 쓰고 해야 하는데 그렇게 하지 않고 했었다. 그럴수 있었던 이유는 수영을 마친 후에 미용실에 가서 새로운 헤어스타일의 머리를 해야 했다. 그래서 물에 마음껏 적시고 있었다. 수영을 하도록 허락한것은 참 잘한것 같다.
공주님의 미소는 뭔가 있었다. 그것은 아름다운 미소였다.

It is usually a contract for a one-year lease agreement. If you brake the lease you lose the deposit money. Usually, you will lose the deposit money because it will end up paying for the damage done while living in the apartment. Also, they have a pet deposit($300) too, if they allow pets. My son's apartment costs 650 dollars per month. In America, most apartments are no more than three stories tall.
한국의 아파트와는 다르다. 미국은 2개월치의 월세를 내거나 신용불량자가 될 경우는 6개월치의 아파트 월세비를 내야 한다. 1년 계약으로 아파트를 입주하게 된다. 1년 계약을 파기 했을시에는 보증금을 내놓은것을 찾기 힘들게 된다. 위의 보증금은 일년 계약이 끝이 난 후에도 되돌려 받을 가능성이 희박하다. 일년간 사용중 아파트의 손상을 입힌 부분을 수리 명목으로 가져 가기 때문이다. 또한 동물을 아파트에 거주하도록 허용한 경우에는 동물 보증금(300불, 한울이 아파트의 경우임)이라는 것을 내야 한다. 한울씨의 아파트 월세비는 대충 650불을 내고 있었다. 미국의 대부분의 아파트 구조는 단층이거나 삼층을 넘기지를 않는다.
